Decarbonising Cities

Cities play a central role when it comes to global efforts on decarbonisation and pushing forward the energy transition. In the lead-up to the global climate conference COP26, the British Embassy in Berne and Swisspower will bring together thought leaders, businesses and innovators in decarbonisation of cities.

The programme consists of inspiring talks, discussions around new and commercial solutions as well as networking opportunities – all aiming to catalyse innovative ideas and to accelerate change.

A two-day hackathon will connect young talents from Switzerland and the UK to develop new prototypes to combat climate change.

The event will be in English and German with simultaneous translation.
